gpu book club is a group for technical fellows in sf to study and discuss developments in frontier AI.

Members

the group is currently composed of current and former engineers or technical product managers at AI labs (Google, Decart, Anthropic), neoclouds and infra companies (Crusoe, Fluidstack, SkyPilot), and other assorted startups.

Past topics

Despite its name, gpu book club primarily discusses technical papers and topics more generally relating to AI, such as:

  • Various quantization techniques
  • DeepSeek-R1's GRPO
  • NCCL-X
  • Trainium and scaling heterogenous compute cross cloud more generally
  • OpenAI's Jalapeño chips architecture
